FIELD SCHEDULE


PUBLIC USE AVAILABILITY POLICY

The COUNTY licenses FYSA to use and manage the Park with relation
to activities and programs that are sponsored by and under FYSA'S
direction.  FYSA agrees that the Park will remain available for use
by other citizens and community organizations at all times for activities
which do not interfere with the FYSA'S scheduled activities and
maintenance responsibilities.  The LEAGUE has
priority in scheduling it's athletic events and practices at the Park.

FYSA is required by the county to keep one field unlocked when the park is not in use.  If you can not locate the field that is unlocked, please contact us at info@fishhawkyouthsportsassociation.org.

The use of the fields, at the Fishhawk Sports Complex, is limited to the teams, leagues and organizations, under the Fishhawk Youth Sports Association agreement
with the Athletic Offices, of Hillsborough County.

  1.  Section 2.  PARK USE AND MANAGEMENT  The COUNTY licenses the LEAGUE to use and manage the Park with relation to activities and programs that are sponsored by and under the LEAGUE’S direction.
 

Section 16.   TOURNAMENTS/PARK-RENTALS/SUCCESSORS/CLINICS/CAMPS.  Without previous written permit/consent of the COUNTY, neither the LEAUGE , nor it’s successors in interest by operation of law or otherwise, are permitted to assign the Agreement sublet or permit the occupancy of the Park or any part of the Park, by anyone other than the LEAGUE.  After consent from the COUNTY, the occupants will pay appropriate fees and fill out all appropriate paperwork to the COUNTY and the LEAGUE.

If your league, team or organization would like to sublet the use of the fields,
at the Fishhawk Sports Complex, please review the general requirements below,
provided by the Hillsborough County Board of Directors, Athletic Services.

*Please Note the Fishhawk Youth Sports Association may charge
a field usuage fee, for field maintenance, in addition to the BOCC
field usage charges.

Requirements for field use by a sublicensee: 

1. Secure location with the youth organization currently leasing Hillsborough County property. If the property is on a recreation area, then the area must be secured via the center director.  The youth organization/center director must contact Athletics via email only to confirm approved use of the field.  

2. All organizations wanting to rent HCPRCD property must be non profit organizations. Any for profit organizations must seek Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioner’s approval.

3. Contact Athletics and provide an insurance certificate listing "Hillsborough County B.O.C.C." 6105 east Sligh Avenue Tampa, FL 33617” as an additional insured.  The insurance certificate must be for general (1,000,000 per occurrence) and participant liability.  We will not process ANY certificates if participant liability is not included. Once the certificate of insurance has been approved by Hillsborough County Risk Management, we will move to the next step in the process.  Please note, the insurance approval process may take 3 to 5 days.

4. Provide the dates and times of field use, at which point, an invoice will be generated for the field rental fees. A $30 an hour per field rental with a 2 hour minimum or $275 per day per field is required; whichever is the lesser of the two. A 50% discount will be applied to those organizations that have a 501c 3 non profit status.

5. No gate or parking fees are allowed.  An approval for donation admittance may be requested in writing to our offices.  We will seek the required approval.  If approval is given, then a clear and visible sign MUST be posted indicating the admittance fee is a donation.

6. Payment of invoices will be due prior to the field use.  All payments should be made payable to “Hillsborough County B.O.C.C.” and if a check is written a Check Acceptance Form must accompany the check. Checks/money orders will be accepted in the Athletic office only.  Payment can be mailed or hand delivered 

7. Once the insurance has been approved and the invoice paid in full, a short term lease agreement will be drawn up for necessary signatures.  This agreement is between the property owner (Hillsborough County) and the sublicensee.

8. The outside organization must also comply with the state’s requirements for coaches/volunteers on Hillsborough County fields if this involves youth participants.  A Signature Verification Form will need to be signed.
